The event was organized by the Hong Kong International Model United Nations Association and hosted by the Chinese University of Hong Kong。Several days of formal and rigorous procedures, including the opening ceremony, sub-committee meetings, general assembly, closing ceremony, as well as creative "Entertainment Night" and "International Night"。Among them, the conference process is a real simulation of the United Nations, in which students play the role of representatives of different countries, negotiate and debate on international affairs, and cooperate with each other to draft resolutions, trying to find ways and means to solve existing problems in the international community。The General Assembly is divided into four committees: DISEC (Disarmament and International Security Committee), SOCHUM (Social, Human Rights, Culture), WHO (World Health Organization) and WIPO (World Intellectual Property Committee).。"Entertainment Night" is a team of representatives from the same country who play a series of games to win the most rewards。During "International Night", all the people wear the national costumes of the country to hold a carnival, during which there are various games and performances。A general meeting is when representatives of all committees get together to discuss contingencies that are set at short notice。

This year, for the first time, the mainland sent a delegation to participate in the activities of Hong Kong Model United Nations。Since our school performed well in the first National Model United Nations Conference for Middle School Students held in March this year and was recommended by the Peking University Organizing Committee, our school was invited by the Hong Kong Organizing Committee。The leaders sent by our school, Mr. Tian Min and Mr. Lu 翾, have rich experience in guidance，The four students have all experienced the Model United Nations activities of Peking University and the selection of later schools，Have a good personal quality and comprehensive ability，Wang Wei and Zhang Xingyun participated in the DISEC Committee，The topic of discussion was "anti-personnel landmines and cyber Terrorism."，Li Meng and Zhong Yijing participate in the SOCHUM Committee，The topic of discussion was "Freedom of the press and child marriage."。Before leaving for Hong Kong, they carefully prepared the topic materials, completed the drafting of position papers and draft resolutions。In order to give them a deeper understanding of the topics, the school also arranged for them to talk with teachers from the Institute of International Studies of Tsinghua University and go to the Spanish Embassy to learn about Spain。During the few days in Hong Kong, several students actively participated in various activities, actively spoke at the venue to promote the conference process, and got along well with other delegates outside the venue, leaving a deep impression。In addition to the honors received at the conference，They also teamed up with four other students from other schools to win the overall title of Entertainment Night，They also performed Auld Lang Syne on "International Night."，Welcome the flash countless。On the last day of the meeting, the Hong Kong delegates were full of praise for them, saying that "I did not expect the mainland students to be so good".。
